Welcome to the Project Management Commons website (PMCommons™), a gathering place for project managers. My intent is to create (with your assistance) a place on the web where project managers share information. Initially I will create the website with elements I believe you may find of interest. Over time, I will be changing, deleting, and adding elements based on your suggestions and feedback. I want the development of this website to be a non-commercial, community, effort.

The term commons is used here to describe a place where things get done and people have a sense of belonging (Wikipedia is a great resource if you are interested in learning more about the concept of a commons). The PMCommons™ is a shared space that I hope will grow rich with your participation. While there is no requirement to contribute in order to participate, I invite you to contribute to this site by contacting me using the form located on the Participation page.

As this website evolves you will find more opportunities to contribute to the commons; for example, I would like to add a mechanism that allows you to post reviews of, and rate, project and process management books and articles. A library containing information on books (including your reviews and ratings) will be a great service to project and process managers (new and experienced) who are seeking the best resources to read and/or add to their libraries.
